Our Mission
The mission of the Friends of the Greenburgh Library is to support and advocate for the library by fostering public awareness of its purpose as a source for learning, literacy, discovery and delight that enriches lives and strengthens our community.
The Friends of the Greenburgh Library:

ORGANIZE and run a book store in the library lobby and special sales throughout the year

SUPPORT library staff enrichment and development

FUND equipment purchases

FUND and support library programs for the community

Board Meetings
The Friends Board of Directors meets on the third Wednesday of the month.
The annual meeting of the Friends is held on the third Wednesday of May.
Meetings are open to all members of the community.
